Despite thoroughly hunting for solutions online, the problem cannot be resolved without either replacing the battery (requiring engineer codes) or shutting down the whole system. Steven graciously agreed to come and sort out the problem for me. He was exceptionally courteous, removed his shoes when entering the property, wore a face mask and used antibacterial wipes on all of the surfaces he touched. He also allowed me to reset the code to a pin that only I knew, which is a great security practice. The problem was resolved quickly with a new replacement battery and his callout charge didn't break the bank. My alarm system is supposed to be serviced by another company that claims 24/7 support and callbacks within 15 minutes and I couldn't reach them at all.
